Electrolysis is a safe, effective and reliable method of progressive permanent hair removal. The procedure relies upon thermolysis (intense heat) delivered with a fine metal probe which destroys the individual cells in the hair follicle responsible for hair growth. During the procedure the client may experience a heat sensation which is associated with the thermolysis.
Although electrolysis is permanent, it is difficult to destroy all cells in one treatment. The duration of treatment varies with every client as results are dependent on the size and amount of the hair, how often a client is treated and other factors such as any medication a client may be undertaking.
